Changes at Area Management level at Holcim Ltd
Bill Bolsover, Chef de secteur et membre de la haute direction de Holcim Ltd prendra sa retraite à la fin de mars 2010. En 2006, il était nommé directeur général d’Aggregate Industries Ltd avec activités au Royaume-Uni et aux États-Unis. Au niveau du groupe Holcim, il était également chargé de la fonction Services Corporatif d’agrégats & matériaux de construction. Le Comité exécutif tiens à remercier Bill Bolsover pour sa précieuse contribution au groupe. En 2010, Bill Bolsover sera élu Président du Conseil d'administration de Aggregate Industries UK et restera membre du Conseil d'administration de Aggregate Industries US.
Bill Bolsover will retire from his position as Area Manager and member of the senior management of Holcim Ltd at the end of March 2010. In 2006, he was appointed CEO of Aggregate Industries Ltd with activities in the UK and the US. At Holcim Group level, he was also in charge of the corporate function Aggregates & Construction Materials Services. The Executive Committee would like to thank Bill Bolsover for his valuable contribution to the Group. In 2010, Bill Bolsover will be elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aggregate Industries UK and will remain member of the Board of Directors of Aggregate Industries US.
Bernard Terver, currently CEO of Holcim US, will be appointed Area Manager and member of the senior management of Holcim Ltd with effect April 1, 2010. In his new role at Group level, he will be responsible for Holcim US and Aggregate Industries US, but remains CEO of Holcim US. He will also become Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aggregate Industries US. Holcim US and Aggregate Industries US will remain separate operational entities. Bernard Terver reports directly to Executive Committee member Benoît-H. Koch.
Bernard Terver, a French national, concluded his studies at the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris in 1976. After beginning his career in the steel industry, in 1977 he moved to CEDEST, which was taken over by Holcim France in 1994. In 1999, Bernard Terver became CEO of Holcim Colombia and in 2003 he was appointed Area Manager for the Andes nations, Central America and the Caribbean. Since October 2008, he has been CEO of Holcim US.
